The nearest ferry ports served by Portsmouth are Caen and St Malo both of which have good road links to us, motorway and dual carriageway to Langon.

Travel Directions to your Holiday Cottage

We find www.ViaMichelin.com a very good site to download directions from if you are coming to us by road. On approaching Bordeaux follow the signs for Agen, Pau, Toulouse this will direct you onto the A62 motorway, come off at the junction for Langon.

After passing though the peage at the roundabout (1.90€) take the road to Casteljaloux, across the next three roundabouts and as you climb the hill take the centre lane then go straight across the roundabout at the top and follow the signs to Auros, on the D10.

When entering the village go past the Marie, Pharmacie and at the crossroads with La Poste and the Restaurant take the turning to the left signed Castets en Dorthe, then take the first turning right signed Le Pin. After passing the new houses there is a large wooden barn on your right, opposite is our drive with the green letterbox and a Brittany Ferries F sticker on it, come down the drive.
