Three separate Cottages
Le Pin (The Pine) consists of three, completely self contained holiday cottages housed in a renovated 17th century stone farmhouse. The
property is situated in the beautiful South Western region of Aquitaine, France.
Residing in the village of Auros which is 10km from the market town of Langon
and just 30 mins from
Bordeaux.
We are just a short walk from the pretty village of Auros with
its shops, restaurant and two bars. Auros is a picturesque village and remains very typical of
rural French life.
The property is managed by friendly English owners and is Surrounded
by 18 acres of gardens with a wood, orchard and swimming pool, the pool is
fenced and has a safety alarm, and is open all summer. The gardens around
the property are to lawns with flower beds. All the cottages have their own private patio with Bar-B-Q, table and chairs. For the energetic, a volley ball net and swing
ball is provided.
There are numerous activities close by, for example an 18 hole
golf course is just 5 km away,
lake and river fishing at 7 km, two
tennis courts in the village (One of which
is floodlit) and in the next village a
horse riding school. In the medieval town
of Bazas there is a
purpose built cycle track through the forest, which if you have the stamina
could take you all the way to the
coast. On route there are several picnic
areas and a lake named
Hostens with a
sandy beach where you can
swim.
Wine tasting and a tour can be arranged by the owners to a local
chateau.
